Seoul - Day V and VI

The last day and a half spent in Seoul were very chill. Day 5, we took a slow start to recuperate from all the walking around and touristy activities of Day 4.
Day 5: 비빔밥 Bibimbap for breakfast
We had 비빔밥 Bibimbap for late Breakfast.

Day 5 - Itaewon Itaewon
We strolled on Itaewon for the afternoon. I did most of my souvenir shopping there and my Korean friends sneakily bought me presents, too, despite my refusal.

Itaewon Kebab
Around 4pm, we decided to get a cheap & yummy Kebab (there's chicken and other things in there, not just a lone piece of lettuce!) Afterwards, we made our way to Myeongdong where I met up with a Twitter buddy for dinner and evening fun in Hondae.

After a long night in Hongdae
By 3am we were clubbed-out and decided to get out and chill in a internet cafe/PC-bang to wait until the first subway train was leaving. I took this creepy picture once on the train at 5:30am; it was completely full of young people going home after the Friday night partying. My Kyunmi didn't come out with us, so I unfortunately had to call her at that time so that she'd be awake to let me into her building/apartment.

Homemade 목살 소금구이 Moksal Sogeumgui
Day 6 - The Last Day. I woke up late, shamefully said Hi to Kyunmi's mother around 11:30am; she didn't seem to mind that I went out so late. We had 목살 소금구이 Moksal Sogeumgui (barbecued pork) for brunch, along with 막걸리 Makgeolli (rice wine).

After Kyunmi's mom insisted that I pack some kimchi in my luggage, we headed to the airport in the afternoon and hop! I was back in Shanghai.

My Seoul trip posts end here (finally?)! Even though it's been two months since I was there, I still have great memories from it! However, I really miss the food and the mini Korean restaurant around the corner is not enough for me at times. I gotta make the trip to Gubei (district of Shanghai full of Japanese and Korean people) to have decent Korean food more often!
